Use this cutting edge software with Final Cut Pro to produce your own 3D footage in a multitude of different output options.
Tim Dashwood always knew that 3D was “more than a fad”, "I knew it could be a game changer”. With 3D ruling the box office with every new 3D film that comes out and with 3D films drawing 33% more than their 2D counterparts, it certainly looks like he was right. A devotee of 3D for more than a decade, Dashwood is a cinematographer by trade. A veteran of five independent feature length films, nine short films and director/photographer of numerous music videos, Tim even worked with Toronto based designer Nada Shepard to create a 3D Fashion/Gaming themed video.
While there are other software/hardware solutions out there, Assimilate’s Scratch, Quantel’s Pablo, Avid and even Cineform’s Neo3D that are excellent 3D solutions. The price tags starts at $3000 and zoom to $250,000 or more.
Stereo 3D Toolbox, version 1 was the first “easy to use” 3D software in the marketplace. As a plug in to Apple Final Cut Pro or Express, Apple Motion or Adobe After Effects, as long as you could master any of those, the 3D was made easy by Tim.
I have been beta testing the new and improved Version 2 for several months. With over 2 dozen projects created using Stereo 3D Toolbox I can say first hand that this software does what it should. It helps make the process of creating good 3D easy and professional.
Now Version 2 is ready for primetime with many refinements and fixes. Tim has been paying attention to the feedback from his beta testers and created the only affordable, reliable and intelligent 3D software on the market.
There will be a two different versions of the software now, so if you want the basics you can step into Stereo3D Toolbox 2 LE. This is a limited edition single plug-in filter that will be available on April 12th.
